Induction of Labor Instructions

Call Labor and Delivery (314-996-7514) one hour before your scheduled time of induction. Unfortunately, there are times when your induction may be postponed if the hospital is full of women already in labor. This doesn’t happen very often, but be aware they it may occur.
Arrive at your scheduled time for induction to Labor and Delivery in Building D on the third (3rd) floor.
You may eat and drink up until you leave for the hospital. Be sure to eat light, since many women become nauseated during labor.
