Charity Galgani DNB

Charity Galgani, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC is a doctorally-prepared, board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with experience and passion for providing reproductive health care. She graduated cum laude from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2018.

She is beyond thrilled to be a part of the amazing WCC team providing obstetric follow-up & GYN care. She is also an Assistant Professor of Nursing, Program Director for the WHNP Program, and DNP Program Coordinator, at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) & the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG).

Her research experience is in perinatal mood disorders, and her interest areas of practice include provision of contraception and counseling, management of acute and chronic vaginal infections, and comprehensive, person-centered, peri-menopausal and menopause transition care.

Charity enjoys volunteering as a member of the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners (AMNP) Advocacy Committee, as a volunteer Hospice Doula through Residential Hospice, a member of the school district’s LEAP PTG Board, and lastly fostering special needs dogs through Home2Home Canine Orphanage. She loves tending to her chickens along with her husband Paul (who tends to his orchids & plants) and is a Cardiac ICU Nurse Practitioner at Big Barnes. They have two amazing daughters, Lillian & Adele.
